Nine years ago, Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost teamed up to fight droves of undead that looked suspiciously like exhausted commuters in 2004's Shaun of the Dead.
Six years ago, they reunited to battle an evil cult hellbent on human sacrifice that resembled nothing so much as a kindly village council in 2007's Hot Fuzz.
And on August 23, they join forces once again in the face of alien robots that look a hell of a lot like the dudes they went to high school with in The World's End.
Look, you could just watch The World's End on its own and have a blast. OR you could totally commit yourself to the frosty deliciousness of three flavors of Cornetto treats and watch all three back to back at your local Alamo Drafthouse! They're showing all three films back to back on August 22nd - a day before most people can see The World's End, mind you - on one ticket.
So grab a seat to the madness in Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Winchester, Kansas City, Littleton, Yonkers or Loudoun if you're lucky enough to live near one of those Drafthouse locations. And also nab yourself a Nutty Buddy, because that's the closest thing to a Cornetto we have here in the States.
