Everybody's doing pop culture art shows these days. Enter Brooklyn's Bottleneck Gallery, who is doing a 'Gang's All Here' show, featuring pop cult groups (their flier has the Ghostbusters fighting Voldemort, to give you a sense of the generally thoughtless pop culture mash ups you can expect at the show. I'm assuming. I'd love to be wrong, but these things exhaust me now).
At least one piece at the show will be worth seeing. Graphic designer Anthony Petrie has created this very cool glow-in-the-dark Watchmen poster that draws from the original comic and not the movie (which I still think isn't that bad. I need to go back and rewatch it to see how much my original gushing review hurts). When the lights go out the comics' back cover motif glows in an eerie, radioactive green. It's a super cool poster, which is being produced in a limited edition of 100 for the rock bottom price of $25. I expect that to immediately disappear.
