Last year I posted a small pumpkin gallery including such gems as Bea Arthur and A.C. Slater, but I found so many rad jack o'lanterns and carved pumpkins this year I wanted to beef it up. It's Halloween! Let's ooh and ahh over some pumpkins that took way more work than we are ourselves willing to perform.

This blog's amazing - all of the below jack o'lanterns are by this one fella, Smith the Pumpkin Carver, and he offers videos for the making of each one. There are tons more on his site; check him out. My favorite of these - and possibly of all time - has got to be the Kraken pumpkin, although Ron Swanson here's pretty groovy. Shit, or Maleficent the Dragon...:
