In which John is, in fact, dead at the end. Sort of.
This movie!!! So excited to see the trailer for John Dies at the End because it reminds me that this hilarious, bizarre, super gross, hyperkinetic movie is going to see the light of day soon. It made big waves on the cult festival circuit, and pretty soon everyone can see it.
Don Coscarelli's film adaptation of David Wong's indescribable serial novel will hit VOD platforms on December 27 and will be in theaters January 25. So while the days before Halloween seem like the perfect time to watch this movie, I also rather imagine that it'll be a very effective way to combat the post-holidays torpor. John Dies at the End is so fun, so energetic and unusual, that it can actually neutralize tryptophan. I bet.
Also, again, forever: I love this poster.
