Polish posters get all the love, but for my money Turkish movie posters are sometimes the most interesting in the world (setting aside the hand painted stuff from Ghana, which is obviously tops). Check out this bonkers Turkish poster for One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, for instance. The older Turkish posters are weird, while later ones are just cool.
The latest great poster out of Turkey is this stunner for Paul Thomas Anderson's The Master, which debuted at The FilmStage.
I just love the Rorschach blot design, and the painted elements win me over big time. It's absolutely gorgeous and evocative and interesting. This should have been the domestic key art!
