It's rad.

See The New Poster For JOHN DIES AT THE END

Holy shit, I love this poster. I got to see Don Coscarelli's John Dies at the End at SXSW, and I just went crazy for it. The movie's based on David Wong's novel by the same name, and it does a spectacular job of capturing the trippy-weird gross out comedy of the book. And this poster! I need it! It's a funky throwback kind of poster that briefly represents some of the coolest stuff in the movie without feeling like a kitchen sink job.

Wong's sequel This Book Is Full of Spiders: Seriously, Dude, Don't Touch It came out last week and I've just started reading it. I'm loving it so far - it's a great October read to follow up the terrific Dark Harvest, which I just finished. October isn't only for scary movies - it's the season of scary books, too!

Coscarelli's JDatE (my favorite movie acronym ever - so much better than #HATES) will air On-Demand on December 27. See it, see it, see it!
