There will likely never be a sequel to Drive, which is okay by me. But for those of you who didn't get enough of Ryan Gosling's Driver character, he might be popping up in other movies.
"[A sequel[ is never going to happen," Refn tells the Burnley Citizen. "But the character of the driver might return in another film. We're playing with that idea. We'll see what happens." I'm assuming that means he'll pop up in other Refn films, specifically ones that don't star Gosling (as the upcoming Only God Forgives does). So maybe we'll see Driver in Valhalla 2.
I'd love to see Universal work really hard to get Gosling into Fast & Furious 6 - how astonishingly cool would that be? And they should get Burt Reynolds too, playing The Bandit.
