I laughed out loud when I saw this poster. I had no intention of covering it, but that was before I saw it and before I was absolutely amazed at how silly it is. I mean, this Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 poster is so campy, so goofy, that it has to be on purpose, right?
Praise must be given to the fact that this poster breaks the mold from the previous films; it isn't just the leads standing around looking sullen. It also eschews a lot of modern poster design stuff like flying dirt and embers. So kudos for those choices. That said, it looks like Breaking Dawn: Power Walking (which is why poster designers add flying dirt and embers, to give the impression of motion and action), and it's never been more obvious that the actor's heads aren't attached to the bodies.
Now let's hope the movie lives up to the poster. I have faith that Bill Condon can continue the delightfully broad stylings of Breaking Dawn Part 1 with this film.
