I like Adele's voice and I like when Bond themes have big, bombastic singers belting them out, so I was always hoping she would be bellowing the Skyfall theme. But Adele was such an obvious choice that all the unofficial reports had a stink of bullshit to them, a stink ripened by silence from the official channels. And let it be known that BAD's not into rumor-mongering!
But now Adele has broken the big news the way all the cool kids do these days: via Twitter.
Fun fact! This is the first English performer to croon a Bond theme since Duran Duran's "View To A Kill" in 1985. Cool. Hopefully Muse will spitefully play their wannabe Bond theme this Saturday when they appear on SNL with Daniel Craig:
