The original Star Trek is very much a product of its time, and every now and again a little bit of grooviness would creep in at the edges. Whether it be Charlie X or The Way To Eden, the show reflected the culture around it. And that's to say nothing of the very JFK-esque, randy and manly Captain Kirk.
QMx is now offering some prints based on episodes of the original series, and they take that groovy 60s feeling to its logical conclusion. These prints could have been made back in 1966. They're unbelievably cool -- the prints for The City on the Edge of Forever and The Way To Eden actually elicited audible sounds of excitement from me!
You can buy these prints at QMx; they're 18 x 24 inches and you can get a set of all four for just $35. A steal!
