What If 60s/70s Marvel Comics Had DC Comics Covers?

An art experiment taking the Marvel superheroes of the 60s and 70s and looking at them through a DC Comics lens.

What If 60s/70s Marvel Comics Had DC Comics Covers?

A couple of years back artist Kerry Callen did something interesting and funny - he imagined what Marvel comics of the 60s and 70s would look like if they used old-fashioned DC Comics conventions. While Marvel books usually had covers that highlighted the action and conflict of the story, DC's covers were almost always bizarre character moments, usually involving unlikely transformations or strange behavior. Superdickery is a site that highlights these real, odd comic book covers.

Callen's fake covers really nail the feel of those DC books, and they truly make you wonder 'What if...?'

Thanks to Joe Bryant on Facebook for sharing this. I know it's old, but I ain't never seen it before.
