Film 4’s Scene Stealers Contest Seeks Out New Filmmaking Talent

The UK's great production company is celebrating 30 years by finding new filmmakers.

Film 4’s Scene Stealers Contest Seeks Out New Filmmaking Talent

When I see the Film 4 logo pop up in front of a movie I relax a little bit. Odds are this is going to be a good one, I realize. The list of movies that Film 4 has co-produced is long and illustrious, and for their 30th anniversary they're asking you to celebrate it in a cool way:

They want you to recreate a scene from one of their movies. The winner will have their entry shown on the Film4 channel - unless you're British, in which case you could win a development deal with Film4 to finance an original short! The important thing is that this contest is open globally, so no matter where you are, you could have your entry playing on TV - in front of the eyes of some important decision-makers.

Click here for all the info, and to see the list of movies from which you can choose. Having seen some of the high quality entries in our first Filmmaking Frenzy, I suspect the global winner might be reading these words right now.
