The EVIL DEAD 2 Trailer Gets Rotoscoped
Oh shit, are we now going to see a glut of rotoscoped things online? Probably not, because this took 400 HOURS.
Pretend For Real studios took the trailer for Sam Raimi's classic Evil Dead 2 and rotoscoped it. The process apparently took 400 hours, but the effect is impressive. And it makes sense - there's a heightened cartoonishness to the film that comes alive in the rotoscoping. In fact there's a real "Ghastly" Graham Ingels vibe to the whole thing, which I think Sam Raimi would totally appreciate.
