The director of WALL-E, FINDING NEMO and the new JOHN CARTER sits down for four intense minutes with Badass Digest.
A couple of weeks ago I visited the gorgeous Sonoran Desert in Arizona for the John Carter junket. It was a hell of an experience in a landscape that, for all intents and purposes, could be an alien world.
I had a chance to sit down on video with some of the actors and with Andrew Stanton, the Pixar vet who is making his live action directorial debut with this mega-budget adaptation of the ur-text for science fiction and fantasy. These video interviews are frustrating; they're so short and you have to wrap up just as you're getting warmed up. Still, I enjoyed my few minutes with Stanton and found him engaging and cool.
