Now the kids are back, and they're all grown up. But this time they're in a more crowded playing field, one where R-rated movies about people in their late 20s and early 30s aren't very rare at all. A playing field that Judd Apatow and friends have pretty much completely made their own. The freshness that made American Pie so special won't be there for American Reunion (unless, of course, we're talking about the freshness of seeing these people on screen again, as most of the cast has found their careers stalled at best).
There's a red band trailer for the film that includes masturbation and little kids, so you know that the filmmakers are trying to be raunchy... but still in a sweet way! Are you excited for the return of the American Pie gang?
