I first saw Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs the World at a work in progress screening. It was full of temp music, and the score over the scene where Scott fights the stunt doubles was from Barry De Vorzon’s The Warriors score - specifically the Baseball Furies chase cue.
So it seems really fitting to me that Scott Pilgrim and The Warriors should be mashed up. I actually could believe they both take place in adjacent alternate heightened realities. Edgar Wright himself tweeted a link to this shirt, which features Scott as Swan.
